How it works

Verified email: enter your email below (Cloudflare anti-bot), you receive a magic link valid 24 h.
5-minute profile: stack, GitHub, experience, motivation — not an Upwork dossier, but enough for a serious assessment.
Human validation within 24 business hours: a human reads every application. Email answer either way.
Activation in waves, after a trial mission: 1-2 h in a provided cockpit, to validate real proficiency (sessions, memory, human-in-the-loop). Wave priority: active SOKKAN Cloud clients (automatic badge), then self-hosters. AVS status required at activation, not before.
You deliver, you get paid: fixed-price missions, written scope, session provided, milestones visible to the client. 80% paid at approval (20% platform fee).

The framework, unambiguous

Outcome-based missions only — one deliverable, one price, one definition of done. Never staffing, never timesheets, never 'made available'.
The environment is provided, per mission: a dedicated SOKKAN tenant is created for each project — client code and data never touch your infrastructure, nor yours theirs. You get an operator role; secrets live in the vault and are rotated at handover.
You stay independent: free to accept or decline each mission, free to work for other clients and platforms. The client approves milestones, they don't direct you.
Clear contract: a contract for work between you and the client; SOKKAN Missions is the technical and commercial intermediary (20% fee).
Self-employed (AVS) status required at activation (standard practice on Swiss platforms) — we guide you if you don't have it yet.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to own a SOKKAN instance?

No — the execution environment is provided for each mission (dedicated tenant). But having run SOKKAN is near-essential in practice: activation goes through a trial mission in the cockpit, and self-hosting is free (one command). Bonus: active SOKKAN Cloud clients get a wave-priority badge — detected automatically, nothing to prove.

When will I be activated?

In waves, as incoming mission volume grows and the contractual framework for third-party delivery is finalized. Order: cloud clients (badge), then self-hosters who passed the trial mission, then others with comparable stacks.

How are prices set?

Catalog missions have public prices. Custom missions are quoted per scope — you always see the price before accepting.

What if the client asks for more than the scope?

Anything outside the written scope goes into a follow-up order, quoted separately. The written scope prevails — it protects you as much as them.

I'm outside Switzerland — can I sign up?

Yes, signup is open. First activation waves prioritize independents established in Switzerland while we stabilize the international framework.

Why 20%?

The fee covers client acquisition, payment/escrow, the execution environment (infra + inference), and support. You pay nothing until you deliver.
